Introducing Pure Luxury Patterned Paper Packs

Exciting News!

Manufacturing our own line of designer papers in Pure Luxury card stock colors has always been a dream of mine. So last December, we did something BIG! We invested in our own printing and cutting equipment. This experience has been amazing and we are so excited to introduce our first three 6" X 6" Pure Luxury Patterned Paper Packs manufactured by Gina K. Designs!

Introducing Red Carpet

Red Carpet is full of fun bright graphic patterns that set a happy tone for any card project. Perfect for pattern mixing, these papers work great for sketch challenges and adding coordinating panels to your cards.
This paper pack coordinates with Gina K. Designs Red Hot, Ocean Mist, Lemon Drop and Chocolate Brown card stock. Look for Pure Luxury Card Stock Assortment packs to be released along with these patterned paper packs on Tuesday night!

Introducing Casual Friday
Casual Friday works great for any card design where a little bit of warm texture is required. Use these gorgeous papers to "quilt" beautiful backgrounds, to create masculine backdrops or use them for paper piecing to create warm fabric looks on any line art image.
This paper pack coordinates with Gina K. Designs In the Navy, Tan Leather, Smokey Slate and Chocolate Brown along with many other Pure Luxury colors too!

Introducing Wisteria Lane
Wisteria Lane brings to mind beautiful springtime gardens in these soft elegant colors. This collection is the perfect backdrop for flowers, Mother's Day, Easter and more. The graphic soft green, yellow and purple patterns are the perfect background for a new baby card or celebrating spring.
This collection coordinates with Gina K. Designs Creme de Menthe, Vibrant Violet, Fresh Asparagus and Chocolate Brown.

--------------

The Pure Luxury Difference
When you first feel our Patterned Paper, you will quickly realize why we put our Pure Luxury label on it. These papers are light enough to eliminate bulk and extra postage while feeling silky smooth with a slight sheen that you will love! We shopped for the perfect paper to print on that feels like Pure Luxury- just like our high quality card stock.

Our papers comes in a plastic bag so you can keep your scraps tucked away inside. Each pack contains 24 sheets of 6" X 6" patterned paper. There are eight patterns in each collection and you will receive 3 of each pattern so you can create multiple cards and gift sets without running out too quickly.

And because these papers are manufactured in house, we won't run out so you will always be able to get the stock you need to create beautiful projects.

These Pure Luxury Paper Packs retail for $5.95.

We already have our next collections in the works and we hope you love them as much as we do. Coordinating stamps and patterned paper packs are in the works as well!

Stay tuned tomorrow for the first sneak peek of 5 brand new stamp sets that you will adore- all being released this coming Tueday night at 7:00 PM central time.

More to come~
Hugs,
Gina K.

No StampTV Videos this week? But why?

Hello StampTV Friends,

I know many of you were expecting a new video today, however, will not be posting a new one this week.
Here is why.

My daughter Rina qualified for a big swim meet in Minneapolis that was held last weekend. She was very excited about it. She was scheduled to swim 8 events and was seeded very high in all of them. (She was one of the top eight fastest kids in her age group in most of the events and was really trying to get a high point award.)

(Rina and Teddi)

Friday night, she had a FABULOUS night! She took second place in the 400 IM and the 1000 Free. Those are long, hard events that require lots of endurance and she really did great! She swam two new personal records and two new team records.

(Rina, making the timers and officials laugh when they announced her name at finals. She's so relaxed up there. And what a ham!)

Saturday morning, she was SO excited to swim. Her first event was the 200 backstroke. She took 4th place in prelims and had a chance of swimmer to a higher spot in finals that night. After prelims were over, we had a few hours for lunch, an ice bath and a nap. Thank goodness I didn't have to do the ice bath part! ;) We went out for lunch and Tom and Rina split some pasta and a salad.

We went back to finals that evening and, although Rina did swim a new best time, she dropped down to 5th place. She had two "not so Rina" swims after that and then went to the locker room to change. She never came up. We waited and waited and finally I texted her because they were closing the pool. She texted back that she was laying down because she felt like she was going to pass out.

(Rina's two second place medals and a fifth place medal)

When she finally came up, we headed back to the hotel for the team dinner. She didn't eat a thing and said she needed to go to bed. Again, not like Rina. She LOVES the social part of the team. I gave her the hotel room key and shortly after she left- she texted me that she got sick.

Not too long after that, the same things happened to Tom. We determined that they both got food poisoning from the meal they shared. (I have the worst immune system in the family with my diabetes and I still feel GREAT! It had to be the food.) The timing was perfect for food poisoning and they shared a meal. Tom had food poisoning in the past. He said it was exactly the same. Plus, they didn't have any other flu-like symptoms.

Today, they are both still in bed. The only time they left the bed was to get into the car to come home on Monday afternoon and then got back in their own beds at home. A sad ending to a great swim meet but there will be so many more.

Needless to say, my "tech guy" is totally out of commission and will not be working all of the magic dials this week to provide you with a new video. Instead, we welcome you to watch some of our past videos and we will be back next week with new videos for your viewing and learning pleasure.

We are so very sorry for the delay, however, we have learned that sometimes life forces you to take a little break whether you want to or not.

We appreciate you all and we know you understand. But we wanted to share the story with you since you count on us to be there each week with something fun and new AND you are like family to us.

So stay healthy and safe and make it a great week.

We may even run a little special! Stay tuned tomorrow....

Hugs,
Gina K.

a new me.

A new year.
A chance to try again. A chance to get it right.

I don't know what it is about the turning of that calendar page but it always makes me stop and reflect about the past year. And every year, I feel the same way. I think, "I'm glad that year is over, I hope this one will be better."

Better? Better how?

In 2011, everything was going so well in my life. My marriage was great, my kids were happy and successful. We were all healthy. My business was a dream come true and I got to share that dream everyday with the man I loved. All four of us were living our dreams and were all so close to each other. We shared everything.

So why was I glad to see 2011 go? And why was I seaching for better?

I finally realized how I had been letting other people affect me. I learned that the number one reason that some people won't let you in is not because you are a failure, but rather because you are a success.

Jealousy does weird things to people. And the sooner you realize that, the sooner you will see everything much more clearly. And the sooner you can stop taking it personally.

It's a new year. It's time to stop living for the acceptance of others and to start accepting yourself for the wonderfully unique person you are. It's very freeing. It actually allows you to be more successful because you are no longer afraid of the consequences of your success.

My mantra for 2012 is:
"How others treat me is their path. How I respond is mine."

I'm glad 2011 is behind me and I really do hope 2012 is better- not in the blessings that I receive, but rather in the way that I view them.

XOXO
Gina K.
